(via apostate) Right after Jacob was born, our dear friend Mary came over to make us sushi.  It was such a treat! Because I developed gestational diabetes during my pregnancy, I was not allowed much rice (FYI - It is torture to deny an Asian rice). Mary not only gifted us with a fantastic meal, but she also empowered us to be makers of our very own sushi. So now we can have sushi more often, because it is much cheaper to make sushi at home than to buy it from a local restaurant or grocery store.  Thank you, Mary!!!
