Mary made one of her staple meals last night for our weekly meal exchange. She made us stir-fried bok choy with garlic & ginger, broiled salted mackerel, and whole shrimps w/ garlic, green onions and rice wine. And a side of bamboo shoots in chili oil (from a jar). Joshua and I are so lucky! I feel a little embarrassed about the food we offer her on our weeks. We’re going to have to step up our game! Next week we’re making a red curry stew, and I already know it won’t come close to the magnificent feast of last night.
